Acupuncture

Chinese medicine recognizes 2000 acupuncture points on the human body, which are connected by pathways, called meridians. These meridians conduct energy, or qi, between the surface of the body and internal organs. Each point has a different effect on the qi that passes through it.

Our Acupuncturist will take a complete health history in order to find out where qi has become blocked and/or why the amount of qi within the body has changed. She will then develop a treatment plan tailored to meet the patient's needs.

Conditions commonly treated include: cold and flu, pain, digestive disorders (IBS), gynecological issues (PMS, infertility& menopause), smoking cessation, weight loss, fibromyalgia, facial rejuvenation, allergies, stress, and depression.

Acutherapy Massage: 60 Minutes $125, 90 Minutes $150
A great massage focused on promoting health and balancing the body inside and out through use of the Acupuncture Meridian System. Principles of Chinese Medicine are used to determine and treat imbalance through a combination that may include Acupressure, Tui Na Massage, Herbal Linaments, Shiatsu, Thai, Swedish, or Deep Tissue work.

Herbology Consultation: 30 Minutes $85 (does not include cost of herbs)
All the principles of Chinese Medical diagnosis are applied through a thorough intake of signs and symptoms, history, dietary considerations, previous treatments, and related lifestyle factors to determine the root cause of illness or imbalance. Hands on diagnosis using tongue, pulse, and channel palpation are used to further confirm the pattern and a custom herbal prescription will be written and filled by the practitioner. Most prescriptions can be shipped directly to you within a few days.

Fire Cupping: 30 Minutes $55
Try this age old art of Fire Cupping as a practitioner uses acupressure to balance the body and then slides suctioned glass cups up and down your back with an herbal infused oil. This treatment stimulates and releases toxins from all the major organ systems while relieving chronic tension and tightness from local muscles and tissues. (*note: may leave slight redness or discoloration from one day to two weeks depending on individual response).
